The village hall in Taynuilt provides a venue for meetings of many community groups and social events. Users of the hall & its meeting room include Playgroup, An Comunn, the Horticultural Society, the SWRI, the Brownies, the Taynuilt & District Amateur Dramatic Society, the Gaelic Choir, Taynuilt Community Council, Badminton and the Carpet Bowls Club. The hall can be hired for private parties and fundraisers.
There is a committee who meet every 4-6 weeks to ensure that the hall is well maintained and to organise events to raise funds to manage this.
The current committee comprises: Chairperson: Vera Shaw.

Treasurer John Davies. Booking Secretary Stella Huntingford
as well as representatives from some of the user groups. All are welcome to attend the meetings and in particular the AGM which is held in November and in which new committee members are voted in.
The hall also has four trustees – the minister, the head teacher, the chairperson of the Community Council & one of the doctors.
